Benefits

Medical Insurance
LUXIM offers a choice of PPO or HMO medical plans through Blue Cross or Kaiser.  Employees and their dependents are eligible for coverage on the first of the month following the date of hire.  Employees contribute a small amount toward their medical premiums.

Dental Insurance
LUXIM offers PPO dental plans through Guardian. Employees contribute a small amount toward their dental premiums.

VSP Vision Insurance
LUXIM offers a complete vision plan through Vision Service Plan (VSP).

Long-Term Disability Insurance
All employees meeting minimum eligibility requirements are covered for long term disability at no cost to the employee. LUXIM will provide details of the actual benefit.

Short-Term Disability Insurance
All employees meeting minimum eligibility requirements are covered for short term disability at no cost to the employee. LUXIM will provide details of the actual benefit.

401(k) Retirement Program
LUXIM offers a 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan. Employees are eligible to enroll following completion of three months of service and may contribute up to the annual maximum amount as deemed by the IRS.

Section 125: Flexible Spending Accounts (Health and Dependent Care)
LUXIM offers a Flexible Spending (or Section 125) program to all employees - $3,000 for health care; $5,000 for dependent care.

Paid Time Off (PTO)
PTO will begin accruing on an employees start date. Full-time employees accrue 5 hours of PTO per pay period which equals 15 days per year; part-time employee accruals will be pro-rated. PTO may be used as sick, personal and vacation time.

Life Insurance
All employees meeting minimum eligibility requirements are covered for life insurance (1x salary) at no cost to the employee. LUXIM will provide details of the actual benefit.

Supplemental Plans through Aflac
Additional voluntary plans available through Aflac. LUXIM will provide the details.
